  • 2023-24
    Mission Definition & Requirements
    Defined the objectives of the lunar habitat project, such as supporting scientific research, exploration, or long-term human habitation. Determined the requirements for the habitat, including size, capacity, life support systems, radiation protection, mobility (if required), power sources, and communication infrastructure.
  • 2024-25
    Conceptual Design & Architecture
    Developed a high-level concept for the lunar habitat, considering factors such as location, layout, mobility (if applicable), and potential expansion. Considered various architectural designs and configurations that optimize resources, safety, and habitability.
  • 2025-27
    Detailed Design & Engineering
    Develop detailed designs for habitat modules, structures, life support systems, power generation, waste management, radiation shielding, mobility systems (if needed), and more. Collaborate with experts in materials science, aerospace engineering, structural engineering, and other relevant fields.
  • 2028
    Simulation & Testing
    Conduct simulations and virtual tests to assess the habitat's performance under lunar conditions, including extreme temperature variations, microgravity, and radiation exposure. Use computer models and simulations to refine designs and identify potential issues
  • 2029
    Prototyping & Testing
    Build prototypes of critical habitat components or subsystems for physical testing on Earth. Test prototypes in controlled environments that mimic lunar conditions to validate their functionality and durability.
  • 2030
    Technology Development
    Develop and refine innovative technologies specific to lunar habitation, such as resource utilization (in-situ resource utilization or ISRU) for producing oxygen, water, and building materials from local resources
  • 2031
    Integration & System Testing
    Integrate all habitat components and systems, including life support, power, communication, and mobility systems. Conduct comprehensive system tests to ensure seamless operation and interactions between subsystems.
  • 2032
    Crew Training & Mission Preparation
    Train astronauts and crew members on habitat operations, maintenance, emergency procedures, and lunar surface protocols. Prepare mission plans, schedules, and contingency measures for the habitat deployment and operational phases
  • 2033
    Deployment and Operations
    Launch the habitat modules and necessary equipment to the lunar surface using suitable spacecraft. Deploy the habitat on the chosen landing site and conduct initial setup and configuration. Begin mission operations, monitor habitat performance, conduct experiments, and ensure crew safety and well-being
  • 2034
    Continuous Evaluation & Upgrades
    Regularly assess the habitat's performance and gather feedback from crew members. Identify areas for improvement and implement upgrades or modifications as needed
